Students Science Grades

Jaderianne

The average science grade in the class was a 93.6%. The highest grades achieved were a 105% by Carlitos, a 100% by Shaira, and a 100% by Stephanie. When students were asked what helped them achieve the grade they said they were influenced by their parents and the teachers were great. Im sure that these students will continue to excel if the keep up the great work.

The lowest grades achieved in the class were an 80% by Gabriel, an 84% by Angelo , and an 88% by Tiana. Although these grades were great students worked hard to get them. Students still thought that there was room for improvement. Students said that they got the grades they got because it was not there strong subject or they just lost focus. Im sure that these student are determined to improve their grades.

Timeline Assignment

1. According to the timeline the two oldest innovations are Plaza de Espana (1668) and the Hagatna Cathedral Basilica (1669).

2. The importance of the Plaza de Espana is that it was one of the first main facilities of Guam residents until the Japanese invaded in 1941.

3. The three churches are the Hagatna Cathedral Basilica (1669), Saint Joseph Church (1680), and Saint Dionisio (1681). The importance of these churches was how they impacted religion of many residents during these time periods.

Air strips and military fortifications were built by the Chamorros for the Japanese. These innovations provided strategic hiding locations for both sides. Air strips and fortifications provided a convenient landing area.

Innovations Assignment

One innovation that has really affected my life is the car. The car is extremely important in my life because it gets me where I need to be on time. If we did not have the car we would not be able to go places that are not in walking distance. The car also gives us the freedom to go almost anywhere we want to. If the car was never invented we would not go places with our family. I am very thankful for the car because it makes life easier and enjoyable.

This photo really catches my intrest because it is a really close picture of a cool bug.

I like the way the eyes look, and how big they are. The picture is so close it almost looks fake.

Macro ptos are cool because they show detail of really small things that you don’t normally see.

The Bishop Baumgartner Obispos played the St. Francis Crusaders on monday night (February 23). Before the game the Obispos had a great record of 5-1 one while the Crusaders held a record of 0-5. The first couple minutes of the game started out slowly until Devin Denchiro nailed the short jumper. Right after the Obispos answered back with Frederick Aladad’s short jumper. After the first coulple of baskets the quarter ended with a score of 2-2.
Both the first and second quarters were very close, both teams were determined to win.
At the beginning of the second quarter Justin Jamindang made an easy lay-up to tie the score.
The middle of the second quarter was slow, until the Obispos went on a 4-2 run to end the quarter. The score was now 10-8 the Obispos leading at the half. During the second half the Obispos took control and pulled away from the crusaders. The game ended with the Obispos scoring (6-1) 28 and the Crusaders (0-6) 17.

I interviewed Gabriel A. on what his dream world would be like. He said that he would want to own a country the country the size of Greenland. His country would be named “Our Land” because he believes in equality and freedom. Although he believes in equality and freedom  he wants to be the King of his monarchy. “Our Land” is located in the Atlantic Ocean surrounded by water, and away from other islands.

Gabriel would want his country to be known for their soccer skills. His country would have recreational and professional soccer leagues for any age. Gabriel’s country even got a gold medal in the olympics, for soccer. For the people that do not like soccer they would usually work as a producer (they create and invent things) or a seller (they get goods from the producers then sell them to anyone who needs it). Gabriel’s job system requires them to go to college for at least 2 years. (I thought that Gabriel’s country was intresting because he explained everything from jobs to sports.)

The Island of Tinkaville

If Jezebel was a ruler of a place, she would be queen of Tinkaville. This land is a huge island somewhere in the Pacific Ocean, the island would be even bigger than Guam. There would be no more than 1,000 people living there. Since Jezebel is the queen, the islands government would be a monarchy with all of the residents being her loyal subjects. People would build nice concrete and wooden homes with lots of trees and flowers. There wouldn’t be pollution because there would be less cars on the roads and less people to create trash and waste.

The people of Tinkaville would live happy, but simple, lives. They would follow the 10 commandments from the Bible, plus any other laws that Jezebel feels will make everyone live happier lives. There would be one daycare center, one elementary school, one middle school, and one high school. Once the children graduate, Jezebels loyal subjects go off-island for college but come back to Tinkaville to work. There would also be one police sheriff, one fire department, one post office, one garbage collector, and one hospital. The residents then work to run restaurants, grocery stores, movie theaters, and other stores where people can buy their essentials. Everything else that needs to be done with the island gets done by Jezebels royal court.

My Daily Routine

Every day on week days I get up at 6:30 and get ready for school. Sometimes I ride the nus and sometimes my mom drops me off. When I get to school I usually just talk to my friends and wait for the bell to ring. When the bell rings I go to homebase in homebase I usually just do the work that I did not finish. Later on I go to 2nd period, my second period is accelerated math this is one of my favorite classes because we learn alot and then have free time. In accelerated math we learn Pre-Algebraand Triganometry, just kidding just pre-algebra.

After school and on the week ends I go to basketball practice, I play for the Untalan school team. Right now we are 1-2 but we are improving. On week ends I usually stay up late doing anything with my cousin and brother. On Saturdays I usually go somewhere or do something fun. On Sundays I do my homework and relax. Then On Monday my routine starts all over again.
